As a knowledge exchange manager, Rachel’s work focuses on making connections between makers, creatives, researchers, businesses and academics across the SWCTN network. She particularly focuses on the Bath area, helping people to access facilities and opportunities.
Rachel’s background is in film and media. Before becoming a knowledge exchange manager, she worked as a documentary film-maker and later as lecturer and programme leader at undergraduate level.
Rachel is particularly interested in enabling creative technology projects that give a fresh and unexpected perspective, and in helping to support creative start-ups and small businesses to succeed and grow. She is also keen on promoting an inclusive working environment and environmentally sustainable practices.
